Nice chips good portions and usually a friendly service that's unless you have elderlyish gent serving you. I don't like it when they make you pay and don't serve you straight away but put a receipt in a queue, then loose the receipt. Even after explaining I wasn't trying to get away with anything having the change in my hand, wearing company uniform so they knew where I worked and only being served 5 mins before, he still only " took my word for it " . Reluctantly I won't be going back.

As a regular customer, generally the food is ok although there is always a long wait. However, this week the medium bag of chips purchased for me by my partner didn't contain enough chips for us both to have a chip butty. On returning to the shop two days later I politely mentioned this to the owner as customer feedback. He was not happy and rudely asked me what I expected for my money. Another customer in the shop piped up that you could buy two bags of potatoes for the cost of a bag of his chips. She suggested I go to the takeaway next door at which point the owner agreed and turned to me to me to say if I didn't like it go next door! I was absolutely appalled and asked him why he would treat a regular customer so badly and why he would not listen to constructive feedback? He said he was sick of customers complaining all the time. I suggested he should then listen to his customers if they are constantly complaining.......he then said he didn't care. I was furious. So pretty much this guy does not care about his customers as long as the money is going into his pocket. I can safely say that I hope with all my heart that his customers realise this and shop elsewhere, where at least they will be treated with respect! I certainly won't be going there again!
